What was the most painful scene you've ever seen in a cartoon?

For me it's the scene above and it's not even close.

I guess worst scenes do technically possibly exist but just the thought of removing your skin with a cheese grater and then rubbing lemons on it and putting salt on it... 🤢

The itchy and scratchy TV show inside the Simpsons cartoon always had the cat and dog exploding or such, but since it IS a cartoon and the incidents are not real, I don't find them disturbing.

THe STARZ TV series Spartacus was full of gorey fights, killings and rapes. Much more disturbing than any cartoon. Its depiction of how slaves were treated was even more disturbing that the former.

For me it’s Tom getting smashed by Jerry’s uncle with the guitar in “The Two Mouseketeers” era shorts and that classic “Crambone” scene 🪕 Every hit looks like it shatters his spine.

Also, the “Fry’s dog” episode in Futurama feels like emotional self-harm. Physical pain is rough, but that ending with Seymour waiting just destroys me every time 😭

Looney Tunes characters sure are as resistant as hell compared to Happy Tree Friends characters.

Yeah because Family Guy, South Park, American Dad, The Boondocks, Bojack Horseman, F Is For Family, Invincible, Rick and Morty, etc. are TOTALLY for children. 🙄

And that's not even counting anime which is usually almost always teens and up. 😶
