Very difficult. Particularly as I am convinced our unconscious sex and emotional circuits make all the decisions and our conscious mind layers a thin patina of logical reasons onto the surface.

Both guys and gals are capable of reacting Phoar! and justifying that in our conscious minds. I am more interested in that aspect now.

How have you found male and female povs without making characters one dimensional cardboard cutouts i. e. stereotypes. It is not an easy thing to do.

It was hard to do at first but I just wrote him as if he was a person not just a male character. I tried to focus on him as a person and what his goals and ambitions are. I tried not to focus so much on him being male.

That is a good answer and solution :). Neither man, woman or dog like to be mistreated so it is not as if we are entirely dissimilar.

Though yesterday I accidentally came across a reference to curvature of female spines. It turns out I have good reason to like some curvatures more than others as a particular curvature is better for carrying babies.

I am not so sure I have that much free will in who I find attractive or even how I interact with them nor even to consciously understanding why I am attracted. :) :)
