What is your favorite Guns N’ Roses song and why?

That's a hard one to narrow down to one. But i guess i'd have to say "November Rain". While i liked Appetite for Destruction, i was only 12 when it came out. G'N'R "Lies" was the first Cassette i ever bought. By the time "Use Your Illusion I & II" came out i was already starting to move on from G'N'R. And by 93 i'd moved on to Rap. But i really dug the instrumentals of November Rain. It's also a ballad. G'N'R could rock but they could play a power ballad with the best of them. And for the late 80's going into the 90's i think that was pretty much a requirement for every band when they dropped an album.

I love how it feels like a mini movie, slowly building from that soft piano into this huge, emotional rock opera. The music video is iconic too, totally cinematic, which I’m obsessed with. Slash’s solos give me chills every time, and the whole song has this tragic, romantic vibe that just sticks with you. 💔🎸

“Take me down to Paradise City where the grass is green and THE GIRLS ARE PRETTY!” I just like the lyrics, they appeal to me. They remind me of fun times with the boys and a night on the town.

I was in Uruguay and a local was complaining to me that they never get the bands when they are hot and on top. Like Guns And Roses he said, instead of getting them in their prime they got “fat Axl” not young thin Axl Rose 😂 .
