Very interesting song.
You met Art Garfunkel?
AWESOME! 👍👍👍
Thanks to your question I’m on a quest to find a few songs about my generation however I’m finding a lot more about today’s generation.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/IlwA6xuYwLU That first song is awesome!
There are a lot of funny songs out there & today’s generation & GEN Z is really getting blasted along with my generation of Millennials 1981 to 1996 & it sucks that I missed GEN X by 2 years.
Its only teenage wasteland.
Awesome band awesome song. 👍 Always loved them.
Probably quite a few.
Some are:
Kung Fu Fighting
Band on the Run
Practically everything done by Three Dog Night
And most of the songs that came out in early to mid 70s
Great songs! 👍
I'd love to change the world by Ten Years After
Definitely good choice! 👍👍👍
Just try playing this song today! Dems would put you in prison just for the opening line!
PS Alvin Lee was one of the best guitarists ever. Loved his stuff.
The second line is also interesting:
"Tax the rich, feed the poor, 'till there are no rich no more."
That is ANTI left wing economics. It would make today's Dems get seizures. Much of what seemed revolutionary in our generation now seems far right. But in reality it is more like far sanity.

Once a hippie girl, always a hippie girl - even at age 72!🙂
Not 72 till the 10th 😁
I have many but these two came to my mind hehe

For me it’s “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers and “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes, instant millennial core 😅
Also “Toxic” by Britney, “Yeah!” by Usher, and anything from early Kanye or Rihanna.
They’re those songs that teleport me straight back to messy bedrooms, burned CDs, and MTV on in the background 🎧✨
