What do you think of the British contributing the best children's television known to man?

It's pretty hard to say the 1980s/1990s editions of Postman Pat and Fireman Sam are second to none in my books 📚

I thought it was "pretty out there impressive" to introduce Penny for the show and separately Pat had more than one vehicle (a Post Bus, moonlighting as a Tuba player)

What really sells these two shows is they had heart and they sure showed a reflective community 🪞 art being a mirror

Otherwise what was the point 👀👌🏻🎭🎨 lol 😋

And then with Trevor a black man and Station Officer Steel/Steele an older man, and Penny a female firefighter, its hard to say these shows were not modern by even their standards.

Fireman Sam was originally called Sam Tân, the village Pontypandy should be pronounced pont - urr- pandy not ponty, or in English wool mill by the bridge.


Insurance companies now refuse to cover pontypandy due to the daily fire problem.
