I couldn’t possibly narrow it down to one role. I luv’d him in “Congo”, “Clue” and “Legend”. Yes, that really is Curry under all of that makeup!
I enjoyed him in “Muppets Treasure Island”, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and the original made for TV “It”.
He played Gomez in the most regrettable Addams family movie ever, “Addams Family Reunion”, and had a part in “The Hunt for Red October”. He did a great deal of voiceover work too but wasn’t always easily detected. His voice characterizations had surprising range. In fact, i didn’t realize myself that was Curry in “Legend”. Until someone told me otherwise, i had thought it was Brian Thompson, a character actor known for a variety of typically villain roles, his muscular physique and a menacingly deep voice.
Another genius of show business, gone. It’s very sad.
