Never heard of it but judging by the short skirts and how the animators flirt with almost up skirt shots and an overly sexualized air to the picture I suspect it's Japanese and banned in most USA states. Winx is obviously a made up word blending minx wink wink again suggesting this probably isn't appropriate for children.

I mean it's a kid's show. Whether it's appropriate is another matter. You can catch it on CBBC, BBC 2 or iPlayer.

I like the old cartoon version more I use watch them in the 2000s. The art style now sucks.
