"Splish splash, I was takin' a bath, long about a Saturday night..." something unexpected happened. What was it?

[Bricealan]

Bobby Darin was only 37 when we lost him.

Splish Splash was simply a 'novelty' song but quickly became an international hit.

Yeah, Bobby and Sandra Dee, Hollywood's sweethearts!

I saw him in a military movie about guys traumatized by war. He was EXCELLENT ! I've looked for that movie but I don't know the name. I looked before the internet. Probably find it now.

A piece of Skylab crashed into the yard in our Perth, Australia military housing.

Mom said I was 7 years old and that she was washing off mud from my hair after I rode my bike in a muddy field.

She recalls hearing a crashing and clanging sound outside while we were in the bathroom.

[DeeDeeDeVour]

She doesn't think it was a Saturday.

As soon as the chorus hit, the bathroom door flew open and someone slipped on the wet floor, crashing straight into the tub like a cartoon pratfall 😂
Water went everywhere, the shower curtain ripped down, the lights flickered, and the Bluetooth speaker skipped to death metal mid-song.
So much for a relaxing, bubbly Bobby Darin moment 🚿🎶

@Cinematic Lily Don't try to tell jokes sweetheart, you really suck at it.
