During our courting days and right up to when the children arrived, both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ballroom dancing, and "somewhere" in the back of one the wardrobes I still have some of the gorgeous dresses. I doubt very much whether I could still get into them!
Sorry I digress, we actually attended a small wedding reception the weekend before last, where we "hit the floor" a couple of times.

  @EmmaMary I danced yesterday on my own... xx I'm still waiting to be swept off my feet by a prince charming since I've never danced with somebody and nobody has ever asked me to dance and I so *much want to dance with somebody...* lol!

I dance on a daily basis. Mostly alone. In the shower, in my office, everywhere I can. But I don't dance on the train unless I'm drunk. Then I dance on the train. It's been many years since I have danced in front of a crowd. Last time was with my wife. I twirled her and caught her. Then I kind her ditched her to make sure I can still do airflares [I still could!].

Actually danced? On my front porch steps around 1970 or so. I was trying to work on a dance routine for The Monkees song, "I'll Be Back Upon My Feet"
Technically, about 20 years ago. My 3 Scum were in town playing a gig with us and while they were on stage, some of the girls they brought with them insisted I get up and dance with them. I gave it a shot and did a very bad rendition of the Batusi.
