Girls probably sensed that there was something wrong with him. Do you ever just get really bad vibes from someone or for some reason their presence is unsettling and doesn't make you feel at ease? My bets are that Elliot Rodgers was one of those people considering he was hiding in the bushes bitterly recording couples and decided to pull out a gun and shoot a ton of people to feel better about not being wanted. It's not like he wasn't a very attractive man so it was clearly his personality.

I don't believe girls ever bullied him (I read his manifesto and don't recall any instances). He never even approached them. He basically would sit outside, or sit at a party, and get mad because girls wouldn't throw themselves at him. And he was only interested in hot girls - not average or unattractive ones.

Not nearly as obsessed as someone who took the time to read a 100+ page manifesto. I took some interest because some things do not make sense in that story.

@diegoD I was interested in his story from a psychological standpoint. Unfortunately, it's been years since I read his manifesto (and I hear they took it off the internet since) so I don't remember it as well as I once did. But I do recall him 1) never once actually approaching a girl, and 2) only interested in hot, blonde girls.

you are interested in in psychologically , here is some new data, there is a reason he almost never aproached girls and it even was not his fault, He was autistic, read on what it is its a complex mental disability that impairs your ability to interact with others and understand social interactions , he may look normal, but he was far from it. selective mutism is another conditon/symptom associated wit h this codition

how does it conflict? i saw today in one of the newsreports in youtube they mentioned it, also the symptoms , inlcuding having an extended vocavulary which is a symptom of aspergers syndrome and all the symptoms I described

His manifesto had an overwhelming tone of entitlement. I mean, it's not impossible for him to have had a disability, but he handled it entirely the wrong way - not the way I'd expect an autistic person to handle their difficulties. Hypothetically, if it is true, rather than looking at himself and seeking help, he hated girls for not choosing him and hated guys for being chosen over him. Everything was everyone else's fault. He spent his life savings on lottery tickets because he felt that getting rich was his only chance at getting laid (and therefore, his only chance at happiness). And when that failed, he decided to murder several innocent people and then himself.

Sounds to me like he was just an evil person with an articulate way with words. Not unheard of.

let me start by saying, asutism and in particular aspergers is a very complex mental condition disability, what you said tells me how you dont understand autism, you are a neurotipical ( normal brain) so someone with a normal brain like yourself, see a problem, does something about it. you got it wrong when you say "instead of looking or seeking help" what you don't understand, is someone with Asperger perceives the world differently, one does not understand the world or social interactions, ifone had the ability to understand whats wrong and fix it it would not be adisability, but it is, remember autism is the equivalent of mental retardation of interacting and socializing without serious psychiatric help. you can't expect a blind person to know where everything is, anymore than you can expect an autistic person even a high functioning one to figure out what is wrong!! there is a reason many men with autism can't find dates until ages 26, 30, 35 even beyond. that proves me right

read you own paragraph it proves how wrong you are, you say because you say he woud not handle the way an autistic person would handle it, but then you assume an autistic person would understand what they are doing wrong and go fix it. so you are thinking that and an autistic person would think like a normal person, and that is where you are wrong. once again , why on earth do so many men with autism go years and years without being able to have a date? what you suggest of figuring out whats wrong, its logical to you BECAUSE YOU have a normal brain. but someone with autism does not have the ability that you do, understand? do a bit of reaserch, aspergers is not just having trouble socializing and severe social anxiety, but its perceiving the world differently. thats why elliot just rationalized that as rejection, and as being hated, so I he was not evil, he took the wrong choice, but he was rather desperate. google the symptoms of aspergers and you will see.

his symptoms are obvious for some one who understands and has done a lot of research! someone with aspergers who does not receive proper help suffers a frustrating life because like I said before the worst thing is perhaps not perceiving or understanding the world. for example one of the multiple symptoms that make one's life impossible is selective mutism, which means they dont talk to strangers, and if they do they can't form relationships, because the condition impairs their ability to understand that it is socially acceptable to approach strangers combined with the severe social anxiety that autists suffer makes almost impossible to approach, let alone form bonds with people. then as a result of their impaired social understanding they form their idieas, for example one book i was reading says kdis with aspergers create rules that restrict interactions , a person with aspergers understands humor, but does not understand how to implement it in order to
