Would give it a try and eat it?
If a trusted restaurant, like MC Donalds, had a rat burger on its menu, would you give it a try?
Would give it a try and eat it?
By the time McDonald's has a rat burger, then it's going to have been mainstream for a long, long time. In various parts of the US, they've been trying to get people to eat Nutria (which is basically a large rat) because they're an environmental nuisance. No takers.
But you know, it could happen because the high-end food culture is so strong here in the US. Cuts such as oxtails, short rib and beef tongue used to be very cheap in the US but now they're so in vogue that they're as expensive as a mid-range steak! In fact, the taco shops in the area now all add $0.50 to your taco if you order "lengua", making it more expensive than the carne asada taco. So maybe some hipster chef will make some sort of rat-like animal the latest craze, but I'm guessing that if it happens, it'll be in the form of a raccoon rather than a common rat.
i have heard scientists were trying to do a study on people eating rats for some kind of research into finding anther source of meat if cattle went extinct and no one they asked would do the study lol.
it makes me wonder if the future will be full of famine because of a refusal to eat rat. while i would give it a try they would have to show me it was a clean rat and not full of some sickness that would kill me.
No Thanks.
I am not a huge Fan, man, of even Beef but once in a Blue cow moon, I will have a Burger, but that's It as Far as Going elsewhere for a Flair and a Dare. xx
No, and after seeing this... I'm never going to eat at MacDonald's again 😖

This reminds me of this scene from Demolition man
so much this!
Unfortunately rats are considering bottom of the bottom for meat cuts. So that would not stick unless it's post apocalyptical and rats are the only source of meat left. Then yea for sure
would you eat a cat? dog? spider? kangaroo? just because it's not common or it's weird here, doesn't mean its not common or a delicacy elsewhere...
that's not to say rats are.
they're filthy
ANON Qs are always of this low caliber, slime in the gutter
but can't resist an opinion
Best if served by those skilled & used to such fare in other lands - TV show once aired this item on menu and host considered it OK, even good
I heard 'trusted' and 'McDonalds' in the same second and was confused. Lol
Not rat but if the had a horse burger I'd try it. I'd also try venison, ostrich, buffalo, cow or pig burgers.
These days you never know where the meat comes from, one of the reasons I became a vegetarian.
If you go to an exotic country and try some spiced meat dish, chances are you are eating a rat!
Nope I was lost out in the woods for 3 weeks once and I will tell you rats taste like shit
Lmao !! Nooooooooo!!! 😝
Oml that's gonna give me nightmares guaranteed
They do, they just named it a Mac.
why rat lmao. They serve artifical shit anyway
A Big Mac is already 60% rat.
Could never do it i have weak stomach.
nope nope nope
No way!
Fuck noooooooooo😷😷
I thought if the restaurant was a trusted one, that might a difference. Because like people not have to worry if the meat is cooked right, since the restaurant is trusted. lol
Selling rat meat is hardly trustworthy lol
