This old friend from high school wants me to lend her $40 for her phone bill. How can I tell her where to get off?

This woman I went to school with has asked me for money in the past. I helped her one time now she kinda sees me as this sugar daddy kinda person. Hell, I'm not even rich. She has a job and 2 kids, and a very unsuccessful marriage where her ex stole her car then he broke the back windows out. She recently bought a newer model Nissan car. Why is she asking me for $40? I mean I'm not trying to be mean I just wish she'd stop asking me to help her out so much.

Plus she's wanting to be a cam model and in a MLM scheme. So I guess she's probably used to it by now

I dont want to be mean but I can't help out not do i want to all the time. Plus I dislike only being talked to when someone wants something.

Yes that is big risk. Once you start helping someone out
than they repeat the same behavior of wanting to borrow
money my advise is tell her that your broke and let it be
at that she has more than one guy on the string whose
helping her out and i hate say it but she's ripping them
guys off.

He did come through and gave it to me today but you should be careful with people like that, you have to use discernment and make sure that it will help them and not just plug a hole that will leak again and end up asking for more money :(

She bought a new car and can't pay her bills? She can't seem to manage her money very well. Does she ever pay you back? I mean if she paid you back that might be different than if she didn't and used you as her private loan office. Just tell her you had to pay taxes this year so you have no extra money.
