Would you be ok with seeing your friend naked at the beach?

So basically in about 3 weeks I'm going on a holiday with a good friend of mine. I've been researching stuff to do while we are there and I've found out there is a nude beach not far from where we are staying. Its something I would love to try but I don't really want to go alone.

I want to ask my friend to come with me, even if she leaves her clothes on. Just so I have the company and also because its a foreign city.
If you were in her position, would you be comfortable seeing a close friend go naked at the beach?
I basically just want to lie in the sun, go for a swim and have a bit of a walk around for half a day.

My perfect situation would be that she wants to try it as well and we go together, but if she doesn't want to do that I'm hoping she will come along anyway.

Being in health care, I see lots of exposed and naked people. So seeing a friend naked at the beach would not bother me at all. People at nude beaches are understanding of others who are too shy or just don't want to go nude. Her wearing clothes will not be a problem. Hopefully, as you are wishing for, she will get into the mood, and shed some clothes. At least go topless. When she see other nude, she may feel comfortable enough to do so. That is, may. Being nude on a beach is a liberating experience.

I've done that with a friend once, as the nude participant. She sat and read a book and watched my bag while I went and swam for a bit. She said it didn't phase her to see me nude. I don't get to locations with nude beaches often, so I wanted to take advantage of it when I was there. I had first said I could go alone, but she decided to come along as she didn't want to figure out what to do by herself for that time.

You are both, presumably non-bisexual, women so what's the problem with seeing each other naked. You don't seem to have any problem with letting total strangers see you naked, so why her? Or are you concerned that she wouldn't want to see you naked?
Just flat out ask her if she'd be willing to go to a nude beach with you, if she says no, then cancel the trip to the beach.

Look it's your body after all, she won't judge you or be disgusted by you if you say you wanna do that. I mean she's your friend right she won't sit there staring.
Just don't overthink it, tell her. She either says yes or laugh it off in both cases you lose nothing asking a question.

I think seeing a friend naked is a fairly harmless thing. I don't think she would really have a problem with it.

No but I will say make sure you dont pass out drunk on your back naked or some very important things will be sun burned and it sucks

I don't think it would phase me. The difference between a lot of swimwear and nudity is almost non-existent anyway.
