Girls, Have you ever been to a lingerie party?

My older cousin is about to celebrate her 25th birthday. She’s having a lingerie party and she invited me. I thought it was strange because my cousin and I aren’t very close and she’s literally never invited me to anything before. I think I have pretty great body, so I’m not very worried about showing it off, I’m just more so uncomfortable that I have to see my relative in lingerie. She also invited our other cousin as well. It just seems really uncomfortable to be partying with my family members in our underwear. If it were just my friends then I’d feel ok, but I think it’s weird because they’re my family.

I dnt blame you I would feel the same way. You are stuck between her being your family thats why you want to go but it be weird seeing them as well. You're going to have to think what you really want to do. If she isn't as close and your too uncomfortable than don't go and let her know why. Its an important event and she at least thought to include you.. but she should also understand thats not for everybody

Although I have been to several in the past, it has only ever been with mostly close girlfriends, your situation does indeed seem somewhat strange and definitely out of the norm.
