Who would you rather be friends with: a Biden supporter or a Trump supporter?

I don't believe in reducing someone to dumb labels based on what corrupt poltiican they support. BUT... For the sake of this question, I'll play along.

Ideally, I most want to be friends with someone who hates politics altogether. But I likely couldn't respect the intelligence of a, quote, "Biden supporter," because those on the far-left are usually hypocrites, ignoring all the identical faults of Biden that they accuse Trump of (racism, sexism, inappropriate behavior to women, incompetence, stupidity, etc). At least Trump supporters tend to be Constitutionalists and aren't usually out-and-out racists, unlike the racists on the left (who hate white people, and minorities that who don't agree with them).

But again, pledging allegiance to politicians is a low IQ move, for sure. I supported Trump in office, but I would never call myself "a Trump supporter." He was just clearly the best option we had of some really awful ones. And I would've preferred Tulsi Gabbard became President in 2020 above all else, even Trump.

I have friends from both sides but if I had to choose, a biden supporter. From personal experience, I've ended multiple friendships with Trump supporters not simply because they liked Trump, but mostly because if we'd try to have a conversation about it, they'd end up questioning your intelligence and didn't care if you were being verbally harassed by their fellow Trump supporter friends.

Why is everything an either or thing? I have friends in both camps and I don’t think less of one or the other friend simply because of their political views. I may not agree, but they’re my friends and it doesn’t matter. They’re unique in their own ways and some of the best friends anyone could ask for. I'm a bit late to answer but I feel I need to state my opinion. Normally, I am completely non-political. I do not care who is the President of this country; all I care about is that they follow morals and are ethically sound. However, several of Trump's actions over the course of his presidency were straight up unethical and inhumane. Especially the capital storming convinced me that Trump is clearly willing to put the lives of his own citizens on the line just because he could not accept defeat. To be clear, my dislike of Trump does not stem from the political side he is from, but his actions have convinced me that he is just not a decent human being. Thus, I cannot be friends with someone who endorses and supports such actions. Biden may be no perfect person, but I have more faith in his morals than Trump.

Normally, I would say that a person's political views are not a reason to like or dislike them. People should be judged based on how they act toward others - kindness and thoughtfulness comes in many forms. HOWEVER, history has shown that Trump is a terrible human... so supporting Trump now carries assumptions. White supremacy, hate, dishonesty, public shaming, and mysogeny are not character traits that I want to associate with.

But to be honest you guys need younger representatives for your country that are healthy and have energy to run it. Maybe Muslim but that was country based, such as coming from terrorists counties without any identification which is a risk of course.
