Have you ever played Dungeons and Dragons?

Haven't played the game since high school, but me, my brother in law, sister and a couple of other friends are getting ready to start a DnD night tomorrow.

I actually played for the first time this year. It was pretty nerve wracking and had so many rules that I didn't quite fully understand. Plus I was playing with a bunch of people from drama clubs so they are doing full on voices and accents and building backstories. Meanwhile my character is practically mute since I had no idea what to say or do and mostly just asked questions.

By the time I got to my 3rd character though I had the hang of things and had a character I thought was super interesting
