A guy friend of mine has been helping me on a project and it finally got done (yay). So I messaged him to tell him and to thank him for everything he did to help me and he sent back this:

Yeah, I know I’m not relationship savvy. That’s why I’m asking. I missed it the first time this guy was interested in me and now I’m kicking myself. Because he never really made it obvious to me, but others told me after the fact that he did. I don’t always pick up on subtle hints so now that I am looking for them, I am sometimes looking at ones that aren’t really hints. I’ll eventually get this right.

Well if he was interested before there's a pretty good chance he is now. But do yourself a favor and TALK with the guy IN PERSON, relying on texting, emojis is a surefire dead-end.

It was years ago that he was “smitten” with me. I moved away, we weren’t in contact much. Occasional social media interaction was it. About a year ago we got back in touch and he interact a lot now, although only once in person because we live about 3 hours away from each other. I want to ask him but I don’t want to be sure first.
