Baby name help?

Hi everyone

I'm pregnant with my second baby and having a little girl this time and finding picking a name so hard
Me and my boyfriend love ophelia but our families sont like it and keep pronouncing it wrong saying "a feel ya " which is do annoying

We also like freya

What name do you thinks better and do you think ophelia will be miss pronounced all the time

Freya sucks as a name. Just ask the six foot tall Freya chick on here with the fantasy avatar. Ophelia is an obnoxious name as well. Yes, it's Shakespearean, but just pronunciation wise, it's annoying as hell to say and pronounce. Just use BabyNames.com. I wouldn't go with either one of these options.

In my personal opinion, Ophelia is a bad name. It's up on the worst name list along with Gilda, Gertrude and Barbara.

Ophelia gives me fairy vibes.
Freya is also pretty as well. I think I'd personally go for Ophelia but I can understand your concern with others mispronouncing it. I say screw it and go with what you really want. They will learn the pronounce her name correctly through practice.
