Sometimes, yes. If I could go back to my childhood, I would've changed some things... Though I would probably only change one thing. I would ask to live with my aunt for most of my childhood.
When I overdosed when I was 7, I didn't know what I was doing. I kept doing it for a few days before stopping. If only I knew that overdosed could kill when I was 7, I wouldn't stop doing it. I would've kept doing it until I am no more.
Definitely yes actually to much.
Yes, because I grew up in the 1970s at the height of the anti war movement, before this Reagan Bush BS, and the entire country being bankrupted by handing all the wealth to the Pentagon. We live in a madhouse now. I feel sorry for the young people
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WOZwwRH6XUIt very much depends on the childhood days in question. There some I'd drop everything to relive at any moment. But there are many that I'm very glad are in the past and wouldn't wish on my very worst enemy.

I don’t really know lol. I had an assignment for my child development course and it made us think back about our favorite childhood memory… I honestly couldn’t think of any.
I do miss being able to hang out with a ton of kids and run around without worrying about adult stuff, though.
Not much. Sometimes I think of the housekeeping and hide-and-seek games I played in the street with my playmates in my childhood days. How disgusting, I feel ashamed when I think about it. Good thing I don't have contact with any of them now. And even if I don't want to remember my childhood days, I always do. And this is my childhood time, the years when I couldn't lay the foundation for my success. That's why it drags me into traumas, anxiety attacks.
I miss the mindset I had at the time because the world didn't have a chance to take my brain over the coals just yet.
Apart from that, like 10-12 was really the only "sweet spot"
Yes, especially going over to my maternal grandparent's house and having Sunday dinners at 12:00 noon and my grandma was a great cook, my grand-dad would be in the living room watching westerns or football.
For a long time I did. Not anymore. The thought of going back and going through it all again. Pass.
me too
Nope. I grew up in an abusive environment. I actually have more freedom and less responsibility now than when I was younger. My childhood can stay in the past where it belongs.
@ Anon Same here
That's awful, I hope both of you are doing better now!
@ Pink Anon yeah a bit, no longer red puddles in the shower lol
@ChrisMaster69 That's good at least
Yeah I tend to keep my earlier years locked in a cupboard in a large old house
@ChrisMaster69 I always imagine locking my past in a box and softball pitching it out the window lol
@ Pink Anon lol yeah that’s one approach sounds good lol
I'm still a kid at heart... and still enjoy playing games.
No. My mom was a single mom. We had no money and we struggled to survive month by month. There was nothing pleasant or idyllic about any of my childhood.
I'm not sure they ever really end
I still enjoy building treehouses and setting
things on fire
I might like to go back for a visit but I like the place in life I am at now.
So much! It wasn't all rainbows and unicorns back then but still what a good times.
Yes, I do miss my childhood days, but I wouldn’t want to go back to them because I would have to go through all the pain again of losing loved ones.
Sometimes. I even have moments where I wish I could go back and redo them.
To be honest I don't really miss my toddler age. It was cheerful like any other toddler's life. I like my 12-13 years the most.
Yes, I do. I wish I could go back to those times when I was in elementary school and middle school. High school was horrible and early adulthood is already looking like shit.
