How will you describe your best friend?

Currently I have 3 best friends.

Niki : Let's say her name is Niki (her name is very similar to Niki though). She is of 15 years. She super nerdy. She was my friend since class 6 but I will consider her best friend from this month only. I call her Didi (Elder sister in Hindi). She is very short haha and looks like a 6th grader with mask. She is my classmate too this time and we are bench mates since school reopened as this time our class teacher allowed us to choose our bench partners. I have bunked classes with her. I can trust her. She is very mature and have a decent mature aura. Like that elder sister vibe.

Peter : Let's say his name is Peter. He is kind of a blank person but very savage 🔥 🔥 he rarely smiles. We were best friends since class 5 but after lockdown we met now. He is basically that grandpa friend you can say. His age is 14. He is also member of our trio friendship with Aren. We bicker a lot, very much with each other but then again if you want someone to have deep conversations with then he is the best person for it. He is in my 2nd language class.

Aren : Let's say his name is Aren. He is now in other state. He is the most closest best friend. I have mentioned about him a lot too. He is sweet, soft, bit flirty guy. Like that guy of school whom all girls would want. His age is 14 and after 2 months he will be 15 as well. He is a crackhead too. If you are in a mood of having a good laugh and smile like a idiot and enjoy being dumb then he is best person for it. We bicker a lot too and he treats me like his small sister only. We call each other names and yeah basically we have a crackhead and stupid friendship lol. I enjoy being carefree and all stupid with him. He makes it feel like life is simple. Peter is his friend too. Aren is also my friend since class 5 but we reunited through my classmate (his ex crush) previous year. I can rely and trust him the most.

How would you describe your best friend?

One of mine is Indo-American. She's from Brooklyn but of Indian ancestry. She's like a little sister to me. She acts like a bit of an airhead and party girl but she's actually very bright and works in optics research.

She's the one on the very left together with her boyfriend in my cover pic (they broke up but she got together with another guy who is now her husband). She's a little bit of a princess often showing up late to parties with the excuse that she was tired. Yet she's the most fun person once she shows up.

It's through her that I met my now-wife. She invited me to a picnic and introduced me to my now-wife who was one of her acquaintances.

I also had a mild crush on her when I first met her and sketched her picture at a bar. It's a quick sketch since she was moving and talking a lot and I was a little bit drunk when I drew it, but I tried to capture her character (she's a little bit mischievous and sweet at the same time):

I tried to ask her out on a date but she said she only dated Hindu guys which was a bummer for me. I kept wondering if that was an excuse but we became friends after she turned me down and ever since (we've been friends for almost 20 years now), she did consistently date only Hindu guys.

On the guy's side (I have about an equal share of male and female friends), one of my best is a bartender. Unfortunately, his bar permanently shut down during COVID but he's a very cool guy. He likes to arm wrestle, work out, and we'd slam shots at his house in a friendly competition. I always won but he's almost ten years older than me and calls me his "little brother".

I also helped to run his bar because he wanted to spend more time with his girlfriend and, as odd as it sounds, I'd be working at his bar over the weekends even though I'm a software engineer... engineer in the day and bartender at night! :-D This is a quick sketch of him:

He's a bit of a rebellious type driving a motorcycle and a bit rough around the edges, but very cool and a good guy at heart. He's also an excellent conversationalist as many bartenders tend to be.

She said that she only dates Hindu guys because in India your parents don't allow you to date anyone who isn't of same religion. Well most Indian parents don't even let their kids to date lol 😂 it's mostly about arrange marriage, she is lucky enough she was allowed to. That wasn't an excuse. That's very nice of you to help your bartender friend. Seems like you all are very close.

Thanks very much! I'm not the most skilled but I feel like sharing a sketch communicates a bias I have in the way I see people; like what they mean to me, in ways I can't really capture with a photo.

I have a friend whose name is MR. Nex (pseudonym, I know him in the underground forum on drakweb), if you know 50% I learned hacking from him 50% self-taught I am now talking via telegram (because the app is very secure about privacy) he is 20 years old, he is very genius, he is meticulous and cunning, he is very good at giving opinions, I am very impressed with opinions (when he has opinions like everyone will follow him, he he is very suitable to be a leader), I have never met in person but some video call. i said that he has a charismatic face and his face looks sad all the time but he also likes to joke

if you don't know what this charismatic face looks like, the face looks like it has a glow that can make people who look at it feel emotional (if the owner of a charismatic face is sad then other people when they see it will be sad) and seem to have a face that can be respected or can attract someone to follow in the person's footsteps (a charismatic face is different from a handsome or pretty face or a sweet or cool face).

For me it has been 2 weeks my offline classes happened. Thank god they have AC in classrooms now! Summer vacation will happen a month later for like only 11-15 days 😐

damn- here we only have ac's for primary school children (which was implemented only a few years ago). also wow those days r too little to be called summer vacation

Ehh over here we have AC for seniors only lol. As 9 graders and above have classes from 8 am till 4 am but for kiddos they have 2-3 hrs school in Summer. Except senior classes Libraries, computer labs and all such places have ACs.

I used to have a best friend but we grew apart eventually. It really sucks because we used to be so close. We had a very similar way of thinking and he was one of the few people I felt comfortable having deep conversations with. I haven't talked to him in a few years though, and I'm afraid we might have grown even farther apart.
