Mom doesn’t want me to sleep at my boyfriends apartment (I’m 21)?

I still live with my mom and she doesn’t want me to sleep at my boyfriends place. I’m 21, a student and contribute money every month for the house. What do you guys think of this?

Your mother is right for sure. You are not married yet. Let us forget about my opinion it the life is so different out there , unfortunately , we do not even know who is bad or well-intentioned person. Everyday , anywhere on the Earth the people are being killed , you are still a really young lady and maybe your mother does not accept your boyfriend and maybe she finds your boyfriend unreliable , bad , jerk etc. Since you are the one involved you cannot even realize the opposite view but your mother is the one who is an observer outside amd can approach the situation in a logical way. If sth happens to you she is going to be sad and may be it will last till she dies of crying all the day long , who knows. We are a strangers here we just give advises , it does not matter if we say do or do not stay with your boyfriend , never mind forget about us , but what about your mother. If she warns you or does not want you to stay there , that means you are valueble , of course , for your mother. To me , you have to listen to your mother and do what se says , just pay attention to what she thinks and beware of the situation by looking from the perspective of her. She does not deserve this , please take a careful step first which is correct by thinking so much on it.

Their seems to be some lack of trust. Maybe you gave her a reason to not trust you or maybe she's just looking out for you so nothing happens with your boyfriend. She probably doesn't like the fact that her child is growing up and wants you to stay at home.

At 21 it seems to me that you should be able to make your own decisions, but it’s her house, so she gets to set the rules.
