Is it weird that I tipped the us cellular women for putting on my screen protector?

I went to us cellular today to have them put on a complicated screen protector. The women was really nice and she did a good so i gave her 5 dollars even though she said I don't owe her anything. Was that weird?

Even weirder you couldn't put a screen protector on by yourself.
