How do you make friends?

I am really struggling to make girl friends. Im a college student (graduate student, so can’t participate in Greek life, if that’s your thing) and you would think it’d be easy to find a group of girls to hang out with but it’s not. How should I go about finding friends? Girl friends? I am friends with my colleagues but they’re almost… too different from me so it’s hard to relate outside of school/work environments. It’s getting really lonely and it sucks seeing people on social media who have best friends :/

Well social media portrays a perfect life but you could try finding one friend first. I know there's a website called meetup which you can join groups. It's harder to meet them group setting so I suggest try to find one or 2 girls to be your friends and then they will invite you places, try getting out there and being social. Look into apps or something

I mostly make friends through hobbies, that usually seems like the best way for me. Is there something you enjoy where you could meet people or an interest check that out
