Why too much focus on the girl getting lucky if she hands a decent man?

I'll put my friend's parents as an example:

She's now 30 years old (their 3rd child) and her parents are both exactly 64 years old. The mother is only 1 month older than him.

He was and is still her first. But so was she too. Several relatives and others focus on how lucky she was, how she succeeded right from the start and never had to go through love deception, a jerk never proposing nor leaving after taking away her virginity. Yet no one mentions about how lucky the man is too. She could've been a golddigger, a cheater or taken his hardworking money when she was younger.

I understand a woman has big consequences if she doesn't choice wisely but too much focus on how lucky she was to land a decent man. But isn't the decent guy, the gentleman lucky too?

They're still happily married. In her case, wouldn't both be equally lucky?
