What was the meaning of this dream?

i had a dream last night about my dead father.

in the dream i opened a box of laundry detergent my dad was mad he asked me why did you open it.

i remember i said i wanted to go home a few times my Dad said a few times he was kidding he said it was too late to late too dark & he was tired.


I'm not sure how old i was in the dream i want to say i was a kid I also think their was a dog in the dream

My dad passed when I was 11 years old. I loved him dearly and was inconsolable for a very long time after he passed.

I've had dreams about him in many different variations in greater or lesser frequency over different periods of my life.

I've never figured out any of the dreams, but I'm glad that I have them.
