Eh, not sure about that one. I don't think the Bible forbids hugs, as long as nothing sexual happens after it.

I think it depends on the setting. You wouldn't go up to a random stranger and ask for a hug. But if you were in a friendly, social, group setting asking for a goodbye hug should be OK.
