Do loving parents know if their opposite gender child isn't very attractive?

Even if the parents are loving, do they do if their child has grown up and never was attractive?

If a man isn't that great in looks and is of average height, would his mother be aware of this?

Similarly if a woman is just average, would her father know?

While a child is a treasure to a loving parents and likely beautiful in their eyes but are they aware if they're child isn't that attractive overall?

yes and many parents will virtue signal as to not hurt their kid's feelings and setting them up for failure.

I like how you mention "average height" for men and not for women lol. As if you meant to imply that's it's bad. Thankfully, height shaming women like you are as rare as rare can get. And deserve to be single and miserable.

I've seen many posts about men worrying about their heights, wondering if 5'9 or 5'10 is still ok but not many about 5'2 women asking the same.
However, I've seen many posts about women asking if their looks are ok or not, even some that asked if they're a butterface or not. We're more judged about our looks, our faces than our heights.
Men tend to be judged more about their height than women. Women are mainly judged for their looks. She can still be 4'11 but good in looks. The genders aren't exactly the same.

Yes because of the "narratives." Narratives affect our train of thought. That's where men and women are mostly different... in the way they think because of different life experiences. If I was being rude, that is because I was upset.

Usually men that really worry about their looks is because they have nothing to back it up with. For instance if he's really a broke guy, doesn't really have any extraordinary skills and on top of that is really a 4-5 in looks, then I imagine he would have such bad luck. On the contrary if has some type of skill that makes him famous but he's 4-5 in looks, he does have resources that compensates looks. The dating world can really suck.

We worry about our looks and weight. Though I can't compare weight to height because one is something that can generally improve (with rare exceptions, exercising and simply eating less helps). Even worrying about our weight has a biological explanation; to be fertile and healthier when giving birth to our child.

There was a couple in my neighborhood with 3 children (2 girls and a boy). Only their oldest child (a girl) was the shortest among the female members in the family, just 5''1 just average in looks. Yet that couple would refer to all their children as their 3 precious treasures.
