Should you forgive someone for saying they've forgotten, even though you'd made it clear it's important to you?

This is a case by case basis. Some people are more stupid than others. But if I truly thought it was done intentionally. Then I would tell them. Don't worry this is the last time it'll happen. And it would. Because the next time they did it that would be the LAST time they'd even have the OPTION of being part of whatever I wanted them to be a part of.

I forgive once, then I get upset and if it keeps happening, then I know the other person doesn't respect me, so I move on from them.
