Would you picked a favourite between your only granddaughter and your only niece?

Say, both your only niece and your first ever grand child who happens to also be a girl, were born 6 months apart. If you were to have a favourite between them, who would you favour more. Your niece who will always be your only niece, or your first ever granddaughter?

Favorites cause problems, so Id try to avoid doing that.

So true. but unfortunately it does happen. My nan always favoured my cousins over any of her other grandkids.

My sister never offered to throw me a baby shower and she wouldn't leave me alone with the nagging and pressuring when I kept saying I didn't want her or anyone in the delivery room, but this girl who is pregnant with her grandchild who is due in September. She and my nephew hooked up around December and she fell pregnant, while he was still in a 4 year relationship with the girl whom he was living with. Yet my sister is throwing her a baby shower. My sister even took back the pink musical merry-go-round that she brought for my daughter for Easter and she gave it to the girl who is pregnant with her grandchild, along with everything else she took back off my daughter.
