I am so pissed at her. She knows I pay her extra to stay with the clothes so no one steals them. When I see her I'm not holding back. Why should my friend, who has been very good to her through the years get burned and let her get away with it? I bet she gave them to her hubby. Thoughts?

Probably but you have to see if there’s any signs about missing clothes not their responsibility. Interesting how it’s a shirt and pants, maybe take it from her pay or never use her again

She has been slacking off on her job for over a year now. Always late, bo shows - days her brother was going to commit suicide again, those are her excuses for being a no show.
I really wish I could get someone else with a more cheerful temperament too. She's always in a bad mood.
So I guess you can’t find anyone else or you have to do it yourself is your only option it seems

She's been a caregiver doing this type of work here in this apartment building for about 14 years. She's been working for me for almost 3 and same with my friend.
She just texted me and swears no one took them and was upset that she would have to pay for them and said "Whatever". Well, why should we pay again for them? We aren't rich. The clothes were in her care and now they're gone. It's her responsibility. She puts stuff in her cart, groceries, stuff she buys, then leaves the cart unattended while she goes into people's apartments or is outside smoking, or goofing around somewhere. She's 58 years old, she should know better. Now I feel uncomfortable around her and I didn't even do anything. 👋that hand sign was on her text to me. Do you know what it means?
That’s a waving hand sign, hopefully you guys can work something out but she seems aloof and only one year older than me
Only I wash my laundry she probs jacked u lol
Not if it's not her fault.

You're not thinking this through. She gets paid extra $$$ to sit and make sure no one steals them and to bring them home safe and sound to us.
I can see one item getting stuck in the machine, but then finding it. But a size 4Xl leisure pants and a size 4 shirt - both gone from a laundry room where she gets paid to guard our clothes.
She was here and I told her what happened. I also said that my friend and I are good to people and we are good people. My friend had his brand new tool box full of new tools stolen 🤷🏼♀️, someone made off with a bag full of really nice slippers, my boyfriend just stole $5,000 dollars from me. So I was not in the mood to hear 🤷🏼♀️ but you have to pay for them again. I told her she would have to pay to replace them if she didn't find them. It's her fricken job!
Are you sure she even got them in the first place? Maybe you just THOUGHT they were in that load.
I've had a few thousand dollars worth of equipment stolen from me, too! The Roto-Toms were $150, the Synare was nearly $900, my entire first drum set! A cymbal safe with about $2000 worth of cymbals in it, a brand new bass pedal and snare stand!
