My male friend and neighbor don't have anyone or anywhere to have Thanksgiving dinner with. Any ideas where we can get dinner on that day?

Most restaurants are closed and we cannot cook. This is always a probably for us. Same thing at Christmas. When you don't have any family or friends, it's a hard day to get through.
Any ideas for us? Frozen TV turkey dinner's?

Most restaurants are closed, but there are usually some that are open. Do you have Bob Evans where you live? I know they are open and have Thanksgiving specials. There are a surprising number of people there. Check around locally and you can probably find restaurants that are open, and even have Thanksgiving specials.

Grocery stores always have package deals. Pick your main course, sides and deserts. They might even deliver. There is probably a deadline for getting your order in, but you should have plenty of time.

I used to deliver pizzas. Surprisingly, Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of the year. Some people order pizza for Thanksgiving. It's also a big day for watching football, and pizza delivery always skyrockets during football games.

One year when I was in college my mother didn;t want to cook a dinner so we did go out to eat. also near where I live there is a place that will sell you everything from a turkey sandwich to a full turkey dinner. Maybe there is a similar place where you are;

You could order a Thanksgiving dinner from grocery stores and have dinner at your house. You better order it early 😊

I am glad that you explained about the lack of a kitchen. Look around, check the newspaper. Maybe you will find a place that has prepared meals you can pick up before Thanksgiving or places that are still open on the holiday. Wishing you a very nice Thanksgiving!

I have in the past got to Chinese restaurants. Some get your grocery stores has meals prepared for 2 or 3 people at a decent price. Check your local grocery stores. Here in the Kansas City metro we have Hy-Vee groceries they cell Thanksgiving dinners for a small party. That includes potatoes vegetables pies for reasonable price.

Used to go to certain restaurants that had a special going on for Thanksgiving like Boston Market, Golden Coral and a local restaurant, they all have something going on that day, just make reservation , the past few years we have been going to a friends of my stepdads

There are only two of us. The apartments we live in used to be assisted living apartments which meant we got three meals a day and they had Thanksgiving dinner too. Well, that meant we don't have kitchens 😞

any families that live around, from Mexican descent? I am 100% sure that if you just asked, they would welcome you guys for both Thanksgiving and Christmas as well... there are no other more welcoming than Mexican families who believe in Christian holidays

Either golden corral it’s a Buffay for Thanksgiving or you’ll have to go to a place like Denny’s or another restaurant. I’ll be going to Denny’s because Golden corral is a little bit too far for me and I’ll be going alone to Denys
