How can parents differentiate identical twins, triplets or even quadruplets?

I've seen parents distinguishing their children even when they're identicals. Personally I would get confused if I had quadruplets like these:

How is it possible for parents still tell them apart? It's so confusing.

They're not born with the same personalities. Personalities determine body language and behaviour. If all four were to wear the same outfits, visually it would be hard to tell. But as soon as they start talking, a parent would know

they r their own kids so ofc they would be able to tell em apart

Twins may look the same to a new person but someone who sees them everyday notice the small differences that makes them different. Maybe its their nose, birth mark, some look slightly different in the face.

Behaviorally, is the big one. And when they're very small, you can dress them differently.

I have known many pairs of identical twins and there are always subtle differences between the two.

Do you not have any kids? I feel like knowing which kid is which if they were my own would be easy.
