How well do you get along with your siblings?

I have a little sister two years younger than me. We get along so well now and she just recently moved here to Japan together with her husband and daughter!

We all tend to hang out frequently now like one big family, and her little daughter reminds me so much of her when she was little. Actually it's uncanny how much they look and act the same.

Our relationship became a little bit turbulent during our teenage years for a short while (starting to become cliquey, moody teenager, you get the picture).

Yet my sister started to take an interest in skateboarding. So I taught her how to drop in on a mini-ramp, later vert ramp, and then she came to love skateboarding so much that she became a sponsored skater and a professional for a short while. We ended up getting along really well after that, always skating together at the skate park.

One thing about us is that we are both from Japan (although half-American on our mother's side), but being younger than me, she went to the US for school in middle school while I went to high school when I started living in the US.

She adjusted much more to American culture to the point where she started to even get offended when people asked her, "Where are you from?" She wanted to be considered a pure American.

Meanwhile, I was homesick for Japan the whole time and didn't adjust to American culture nearly as much. So not too long after graduating from uni, I moved back here to Japan while she stayed in the US and we barely saw each other for the longest time (just once at my wedding with my wife in over ten years of not seeing each other).

So it came as a complete surprise to me that she just recently decided to move back here to Japan. She's now an English teacher teaching English to Japanese students.

We were very close through high school. We were inseparable, having so much fun together. Something happened during college. I can't even recall what, but we stopped talking. He unexpectedly died a few years ago. I was too pigheaded to make things right between us. I miss him terribly.

Not well altogether. I have one sister that I truly love. We fucking fought as kids, like sibling rivalry doesn't explain the battles. Anyway were both hot heads with tempers that have cooled over time. I have 3 half sisters and 2 again brothers that there's just no contact.
