Today I thought about having a family of my own. I just want to know if this is still normal in todays world or if I need to seek professional help. :)

The very famous am I normal question. Normal is a misleading word, for etymological reasons, hence leading to misled questions and conclusions, we all have an endless train of thoughts and feelings, this is the norm, as such it is normal. I think the question you're asking is: What is a healthy thought?

The simple answer would be that any thoughts are healthy, in the sense that it's just a thought or a feeling, it's not an act. Then comes the question of the moral compass, is this thought morally acceptable or not, which sparks a much bigger topic. But in your case there are no moral debates to have, you think about having creating a family, you think/feel about bonding, you think/feel about love. It is totally the norm, it is totally healthy. In every society on earth I can conceive, it is.

It was sort of a half troll question because on the internet there's so much content about how nobody is staying together and having a family anymore so that's why I was asking if I'm ok :P

It's the hormonal drive of all species and us humans are no different. For most women this drive can be sooner. But for a man I think 30's is really normal age for that drive to kick in! (Probably why most girls in 20's settle with guys in 30's. I did)..
