Is it appropriate for parents to curse around their kids & kids use those words? Should ALL adults self censor themselves around other ppls kids?

You can curse around ALL kids if no adults complain

You can't curse AT kids but can if it's rare & right circumstances

You can't curse AT ALL around kids - that's for adults

You shouldn't use profanity anytime, any where w/ anyone so sayeth the Lord.

You shouldn't curse because it betrays you're juvenile/ dumb & don't have appropriate words / emotional control

I personally never thought it was appropriate to cuss when I was younger, even if my parents cussed at or around me. What I did find funny was how parents complain about their kids cussing yet they were the ones who basically showed/taught them that it was OK to cuss at others. However, even as an adult I'll rarely cuss (like once in a while) but I'm not suppose to do it around dad apparently (he thinks it's unlady like and tells me not to say those words. Despite it being adult language).

I try not to curse around any kids, but my wife swears like a sailor whether there are kids or not. I'm not sure if it's good or bad to do but you do have to limit them from using them.

Cursing for the sake of cursing doesn't say much for the IQ levels. There is a time and place for it.

It's inappropriate around kids. Two of my sisters curse all the time in front of their children, it's so painful to hear it! 🤯🤯

I mean moderation, obviously.
Even with adults I don't swear when it's not necessary because constant swearing disables the impact/meaning/usage of swearing.
