Are you ready for Christmas?

I’ve done nearly all my Christmas shopping. I know lots of people; I have two more gifts for my dad, one for my cousin, one for her two sons and a few friends to shop for. I know what I’m getting everyone else.

Unless I come into a lot of money, Christmas is going to be depressing this year like it was last year and the year before and the year before that and so on.

Yeah inflation doesn't help at all. Made things worse for Christmas this year.

Then there are all these relatives you never see, that expect gifts. Half of whom would probably not attend your wedding, or funeral, if anything major happened. I’d trade all the gift giving and receiving, for more time seeing people.
