What do you guys call you’re parents as adults?

I call my mother ma and if I’m talking to someone it’s either mom or momma depending on the conversation. I’m my mother’s only child but for my father I have a little sister a lot of the time she says my dad or dad. And I usually say dad when speaking to her. When talking to him I still call him dad. Occasionally I’ve said I’m going to my daddy house but that’s usually with a family member or a someone I’m dating otherwise I call him dad when speaking about him with other people

My mom is gone now, but as a pair, I’d joking refer to them as Ma and Pop Dukes, just because they were born in the 1930s and have no clue. My dad would sometimes say “Son Dukes”, and I’m like “nah, doesn’t work like that”😂

But for short, if I were addressing one of them, it’d be “Ma” and “Pops.” But if I were telling someone else about them, I would likely say “mother” or “father” individually (possibly “mom” and “dad”, but less likely…probably just what sounds best in the sentence, if I can help it), or probably “my mom and dad” as a pair.

I also address my dad as “Padre” sometimes too, for no particular reason other than it sounds cooler than the English words for a father, haha
