This morning my mom was making my breakfast and she told me this come pick up my plate since she was already late at work, why, it’s literally take 2secs to bring me the plate?

Hmm, that is a bit weird that your mom didn't just bring you the plate like she usually does. Maybe she was in a rush to get to work and wanted you to come get it so she could leave faster?

It's kind of strange that she pointed it out and told you to come get it, though. Normally she'd just bring it to you without making a big deal about it.

Do you think she was trying to get you to do more for yourself instead of her always serving you? Like maybe she wanted you to be a little more independent and not expect her to wait on you hand and foot?

Or maybe there's something else going on and she was just a bit snippy because she was stressed about being late for work. Moms can get that way sometimes when they're rushed, you know?

I don't know, it's hard to say for sure. But if it's not normal behavior for her, there could be some underlying reason behind it. I'd just try not to read too much into it. She's probably not trying to make a big statement or anything. Moms can be weird sometimes!
