It was a total solar eclipse and I was in the zone of totality for the one on 08 APR 2024. I SHOULD have witnessed the one in August 2017 because my home was in the zone of totality, but I was 1200 miles from home and could not come home because my wife makes sure to keep us poor, so I couldn't take off of work to come home for that. Fortunately, COVID-19 enabled me to work from home and thus see the 2024 eclipse.
