I tried this last week with someone and it didn't go over so good. My question was do you want more with me as much as I do you? Her and I had went out a few times before this and we very clearly liked each other. We had a crazy connection we smiled and laughed consistently, talked the whole time, our food got cold before we could finish one date. Another we both did things for the other we had never done before and genuinely enjoyed it, thinking we were not going to. However those uncomfortable things made us realize how different we were. We kind of agreed it would be very very difficult to make things work. That just made me want to try it more over time... I tried to tell her last week I thought she would be worth going through all the uncomfortable stuff to have more with her. She told me she was getting back with her ex husband, they had been split up almost 2 years before this... She did not seem happy the last "date" like before our talk about how difficult it would be to make things work. I think its my fault for not saying she was worth all the uncomfortable stuff the first time the idea came about. i think we were both bit our tongues a lot for each other and were caught in a bad moment. But you win some and lose some... or something like that. Some times certain things just are not meant to be.
