Which table would you rather sit at at Thanksgiving Dinner? The Adult table or the Kids table?

Conversation can get pretty dicey at the table on Thanksgiving (especially if Uncle ******** and Cousin ****** are there) and most of us are there to relax and have some fun.

So which table would you rather sit at at Thanksgiving Dinner?

I personally don’t believe there should be a kids’ table at the holidays. In my family, the holidays are a time for everyone to be together all ages at the same table. These moments are meant to teach children why we celebrate, pass down traditions, and make them feel included, valued, and loved.

Growing up, that’s how it always was in my house, and it created some of my best memories. Kids are the foundation of the family, and when the adults are gone one day, they’re the ones who will continue the traditions with pride. Keeping everyone at the same table helps them learn, bond, and feel connected. Family togetherness is what the holidays are truly about. Not trying to get the children out of your hair so the adults can talk let them engage in adult conversations and educate them so they also become more educated and nurtured.

Yes I just turned 21. I honestly give all the thanks to my family for the way they raised me they never treated me like I was just some dumb kid nor never tried to shut me down. They taught me, guided me, and answered every question I had with love and patience.

I was raised by my grandparents and my mom, and they always taught me that God comes first, family comes second, and education comes third because your education is something no one can ever take from you.

And I’m proud to say that I’ve carried those values with me. I’m about to graduate with my bachelor’s degree this December and I owe so much of that to the foundation they gave me and support over the years.

We’ve had our hardships. But believe me I felt it was too good to be true too but it is possible and truly is amazing. I give all thanks to God I do question though why I was given the family I was and why not another family.

Yes sir thank you. I’m studying Business management and getting a minor in marketing!

That's excellent. I also went to B school and I think it is probably the best major you can have for a great career! You should have lots of great options. We are in public here so I won't ask you specific details for privacy reasons... but you made a great choice!

Good example but still adult, for me. i can bear hearing different political opinions in contrast to liberals who say don't trigger me. So no problem.
