Is it wrong that I left my cat to torture a mouse?

I walked down stairs and my cat was running around underneath the table. After a few seconds I realized she had a mouse in her mouth and throwing it up in the air. It eventually broke free. She was chasing it around under the table for a few minutes. I put some gloves on and tried to catch it, but it was too fast. I saw it run down into the living room and underneath the couch. My cat had no idea where it went. I didn't wanna stay downstairs to try in catch it and I was tired so I just went to my room and left my cat downstairs to mostly likely eventually find the mouse and torture it to death. Is that wrong?
