Is it creepy to take a new name I only know from a minor celebrity?

I have to change my name basically cuz my name is super ethnic and I hate how much it stands out and how no one can ever pronounce it and everyone gives me a hard time about it. I don't care about "wearing my culture with pride" cuz Ik I am my culture regardless of giving me extra headaches every day by having to deal with asshats asking me a million encyclopedia brittanica questions about "how do you pronounce that can you spell it. What does it mean. Where is it from. Where are you from. No, where are you from reallllllllly." Etc etc etc.

There are only two names i really really love. But i only know they exist because of a minor celebrity and a missing child poster. They're not even uncommon names but I don't know if my liking the celebrity makes it sound stalker-ish if I choose that name. Cuz like it's hers. And i'm not choosing it because it's hers. But i only know about it because it's hers. And it kinda feels like if anyone asks why I chose THIS name it's gonna make me look like those freaks who change their names to Taylor because they're obsessed with Taylor Swift.

I'm not obsessed. I genuinely just love the name. And the only alternative is the other name which I only know of because of a missing child poster. And that feels even more unsettling. Changing your name inherently means you're taking someone's name unless you make up a new one. I don't want a made up one cuz that defeats the point of wanting to change it to something simple and pretty that doesn't stand out.

What's the verdict, am I a total creep if I let myself choose the name I like, even though a minor celebrity also has that name and I have positive associations with that celebrity? I am not a staunch fan or anything, I just appreciate her ethics and writing style, but I haven't even actively paid attention to her career. I don't really know her work. I just think she's chill and funny and I wish I had her name cuz I think the name is perfect.

Wow! I could understand that you want to change it because it is a name that is demeaning, that has a very negative vibes associated with it or that is similar to a criminal of the 2nd. world war or an actual US president or Israeli prime minister.

But changing it simply because it is difficult to pronounce is beyond my understanding. Where I come from it is not possible to change a name simply because one does not like it.

It is indeed creepy to change it to the name of a celebrity, regardless whether that celebrity is minor or major. There are thousands of names to chose from that are not the ones of a celebrity and yet, you want the name of a celebrity.

My given name is fifteen fucking syllables. If people are just gonna butcher it, force nicknames, and make racist commentary, while my whole life is dealing with asinine customer service because some fuctard put my first name as my last name because they just assumed i wrote my own forms wrong lmfao fuck that shit.
