How did you come up with the name for your pet (s)?

We have three cats. The oldest is 7 years old. We got him when he was about 3 months old. He is a super fluffy, marmalade orange, part Maine coon.
When we got him and were searching for a name, we were talking to some friends and one suggested POTUS because he is orange and it was during Trump's first term. We thought that was original and super funny, so that's what we chose. We call him Poatie. He's a very good boy.

Our other two cats are brother and sister. We got them when they were maybe 6 weeks old. They are one year old now.

The boy is gray with dark spots and stripes. He's really handsome. We tossed around different names, trying to focus on his color. We thought of calling him Pewter but that wasn't working. Then I suggested Sterling. My wife liked that. It is distinctive and very masculine.

The girl is cream-color with gray lower legs, ears, tail and markings on her face. We decide to name her Pearl. She's a girly girl who tilts her head and rolls around looking cute to get attention.
Both of those cats developed amazingly fluffy tails ones they grew up a bit. They are really sweet.

They were born in 2020.
During that time the world dealt with the "covid delta" version.
So it's "Covid" and "Delta".
There also was a guest cat: "Pfizer". But it disappeared.

We hjad a cat named Harry who was named after a cat I had as a kid, We got another one who was Sammy. He had the name when we got him at the shelter.
