Why do people act so rude and hateful, and how do you deal with it?

They say not to be nice and kind to people because they will think that you are weak and take advantage of you.

So what's left? Rude and hateful.

Frustration, stress, resentment, unhappiness. It's nothing personal and for sure it's not you the problem. How to deal with it? Take it with a pinch of salt, become a pragmatist and detach from the details and don't respond to it.

Always talk nice to the shitheads. But remind them people often die in their sleep for unexplained reasons, then turn and walk away.
