Yes. A woman i used to work with for many years i had grown quite fond of. One day she started coming on to me. I'll fully admit i do not read this stuff that well so i shrugged it off. Over the weeks that followed she continued so finally i made the decision to ask her out, and she rejected me. You can imagine how this confused me. This wasn't an isolated incident of her coming onto me. She did it for weeks, then rejects me?🤔 oh well, it sucks but no harm no foul. So i shrugged it off. I still like her, we can just continue as friends. But after that she had it keep bringing it up. Like telling me "i don't want do (this or that) because i don't want to send the wrong message to you. I mean no one likes to be rejected. But now to continued to be rejected especially when i wasn't wanting to date her anymore. It's like she needed me to know over and over again that she wouldn't date me.🤔🤷‍♂️ So finally it's like F it, i don't even want to be around this girl anymore. So i started avoiding her. Stop talking to her. And how did she respond? She started following me, stalking me, she did this for 2 years before she finally quit. I don't know if she realized i wasn't coming back or if she found a new guy to harass. Either way, i'm just glad it's over.

But i did learn from it. In hindsight i understand a lot of toxic traits she had that i didn't notice originally. Before her i never considered women could be bad people. Like she was ONLY attracted to men that were already in a relationship. That is a MAJOR red flag. I wasn't in a relationship. She was using me for some form of validation. She was NEVER my friend. She'd play me off other guys and i didn't realize it. She asked me to buy her lunch one day because she didn't have enough to buy lunch. Little did i realize she could afford it. She had been using me to make another guy jealous.

I know all this makes me look like a GRADE A chump! And i was. But as i say, now i know. I learned from it. Now anytime a woman shows the remotest of interest i'm very thurougg about everything that led up to it. And if it doesn't add up, i dismiss her.

What i find interesting is that she stalked me for 2 years. after this. I don't know if she thought she could con me again, or if some part of her realized she let a good thing get away. Either way, i'm happy i met her. As much as it sucked, i was too much of a trusting person before i met her.

Just a woman who made a mendacious allegation against me. Particularly cruel because I was a volunteer. Certain women can really be rather calculating and horrible.

A little bit. It was my friends ex, he took a shine to me. He lived in Wales, me in England, and he drove to my house and kept knocking on my door, shouted through the letterbox asking if I was in. Very creepy behaviour.

My friend/co-worker was stalked last year. It started with this guy coming into the shop we worked at all the time and then when she wouldn't give him her insta/number he started waiting for her to finish. We'd all wait to walk her to her car after work and eventually she had to get the police involved.
