so when i was on a classtrip and we were allowed to go swimming i was wearing a bikini like the other girls did but everyone said i should cover my cleavage and stop showing so much skin, the guys didn't say anything but were staring none stop, i don't say that i like to show cleavage and stuff but almost every girl wore a bikini and i just did the same thing! i wanted to have fun and not to show my body off most of them called me a b'tch, w*ore and trashy, why is it wrong for me to wear a bikini?

I guess people consider it "slutty" but it doesn't make you a slut. There's a difference.

If you got large chesticles, that's the price you pay for it. I have a big butt, and I see girls wearing like almost thong, panty-ish bottoms. But they have smaller butts, so it doesn't look slutty. If I'm not wearing like full coverage, it looks kinda trashy in my opinion and you can seem my ass. I don't like that "hanging cheeks" look.
But I'm like a complete prude, the last person you'd ever wanna go with to the beach lol I wear "grandma" bathing suits that are like shorts and tank top. I don't like to show too much skin.

I don't consider girls skanks or whores for wearing that. But society deems that as "slutty".
Guys will love it of course. Some girls won't. It was uncalled for girls to say that. Some girls just don't like to see other girls look better or get all the attention as well.
It's like if a heavyset girl were to wear a revealing outfit, people would be ok with it saying she's "confident". She's "empowering", "not letting society tell her what she can and can't wear." But if a thinner girl does it, you'll have people saying she's a "skank". "Attention whore, trying to hard to get attention", etc.
I guess society or whatever has placed different standards for different people.

They were expecting to have a lot of attention and you "took it from them" (not your fault), so they were jealous. Wearing a black bikini isn't slutty because black is just another color for a bikini. Another girl could of worn a pink floral print bikini that show way more skin then yours and that could be considered slutty. The way you described your bikini, it doesn't sound slutty.

no they are not slutty but it depends of course on the place you are wearing them and on the bikini itself. if you wear something which barely covers anything or go to the church in them then people will think it's slutty but on the beach or pool it should be fine. don't listen to them. +
