By the way. Have you ever heard of the Giro D'italia? It is the second biggest bike race in the world and has existed for 100 years now. Every bike rider wants to win that one because of it's prestige. The leader in the classification wears a Pink jersey

It used to be pink was for boys and blue is for girls but they later switched it. That goes to show that it's based on completely arbritrary values a society can have and it shouldn't dissuade an individual away from the color if they really like it. Personally, I couldn't care less, and you shouldn't have to care either, it's your life and you can do whatever you want.
