What's sexier in a man: tan or pale skin?

Before I continue, yeah yeah, I know, skin-tone doesn't matter when it comes to a partner or judge how attractive they are but I'm just wondering, girls: what's usually sexier? Tan men or pale men? I noticed that most men considered sexy by women are very tan, and paleness is never mentioned.

I like tan, but it doesn't mean I'll pass up a hot guy just because he's pale.
I'm really pale. Like, you'll lose me in a snow storm. It sucks because nobody ever mentions pale skin, and I think a tan makes your body look better regardless of how fit you are. But guys still find me attractive, and I know very white guys who girls still adore.

Depends, I mostly like pale guys with dark hair because the contrast looks nice. If a guy looks good being tan or pale I don't really care but someone who can keep a heavy tan in a country with no sun in the winter... that's just weird.
