I asked a previous question about teen guys who sag in general, now I'm wondering if a celebrity (Justin Bieber) is more of an exception. He gets tons of support from his fans to wear his pants low (screaming, cheering, etc.) & has complete confidence sagging in public. He has been confronted about it in the past but has never been scolded/scorned really. He is then asked to lift/ take off his shirt & display his boxer briefs & big heavy belts to the audience who scream/ support him even more. He has been supported/ encouraged to sag since the start of his career & brands like Calvin Klein make sure he is always sagging his jeans and wearing them low. It's almost like sagging is a part of who he is, and he can't really wear them higher even if he wanted to.

What a typical teen boy get more ridicule than JB? Most guys don't sag nearly as low as JB. Girls only go crazy when JB does it that low and it's uncomfotable. It's a global trend, this video below is two bored guys who recoreded themselves play fighting in the Netherlands. -The comments to his video actually tells him how 'sexy' his sag was.
I know that some girls/ guys support it (personnal experience).
Some mature grown-ups must support it too b/c no one tries to stop it, they might even support it just like they cheer for Justin Bieber at his concerts.
Everyone at my school wears their pants a bit low. The most popular style is a couple inches below waistband with a big heavy belt visable below the shirt. It's much more comfortable to wear jeans this way. Like this:
The only time I hear teachers tell kids to pull their pants up is when they do that old gangster sag look. They don't mind this new style of sagging which looks much cleaner and I guess 'fashionable'.
Let me know what you guys think about JB/ sagging style. Try to be optimistic and describe what you find acceptable. Why is JB so supported? It's a groing trend for younger guys.
